Royal Society for the Protection of Birds or RSPB's second-hand binoculars scheme is helping educate people and protect many different species in developing countries since 1985. More than 12,000 pieces of optical equipment has been distributed by RSPB so far to at least 90 countries, including India.

Sachin Ranade has delivered a pair of binoculars to us on behalf of Mithu Das.
Mr. Sachin Ranade (left), BNHS Centre Manager of Vulture Conservation Breeding Centre at Rani in Assam, has delivered the pair of binoculars to us on behalf of Mr. Chris Bowden, at Guwahati.

Our thanks to Mr. Chris Bowden, International Species Recovery Officer for RSPB and Asian Vulture Programme Director, who—after we told him how we're facing challenges to make a database for this blog site—sent this pair of binoculars to us.

Mr. Bowden later informed us that the binoculars were kindly donated to RSPB by one of their members. Our thanks to that generous member of RSPB for their help and kindness.
